To make sure you travel the route that fits you, we’ve selected 7 travelroutes to give you the Canadian experience you’ll never forget.
- Fast Basic route (light blue): you’ll follow the transcanada highway from Calgary to Vancouver via Kamploops. Along this route you will visit the most common hotspots during this fast trip of 12-15 days.
- The Island feel (purple): experience the island dream starting with a ferrytrip from Vancouver to Victoria on to Tofino. The unique environment of unspoiled nature, fantastic beaches and a surfers paradise vibe will make it an unforgetable trip.
- Sea to sky (silver): take the backroad from Kamloops through Whistler to Vancouver through snowy mountainious landscapes, the infamous Whistler village and climbing the world renowned Chief near Squamish.
- Flashback Hippy history (yellow): travel the route pioneering settlers travelled mid 18th century. Passing through towns where time stood still for some decades now and flowerpower hometown Nelson. The kootenay’s will dazzle you with their natural beauty and super friendly vibe.
- Icefields Jasper park way (green): you’ll travel down one route that is on everybodies wishlist, the Icefields park way to Jasper. An unforgetable tour riding the Ice-Explorer all-terrain vehicle along the Athabasca glacier, visiting all nature has to offer in Jasper National Park including the natural bridge, exquisit lakes and roaring waterfalls.
- Okanagan wine & lake route (red): a unique area with the only desert climate within Canada wich is a favorite get-a-way for Canadians in the summertime. Als called “the wine sellar of Canada” it is obvious you will visit the best wineries of all of Canada here. This wine hotspot is ideally combined wich a relaxing beach vacation at one of the lakes and some activities like hiking, visiting ancient mining towns, horseback riding and canoeing on lakes along the bordering foothills of the Rockies.
- Sunshine coast (dark blue): the largest marine park in BC with a year round moderate climate is ideal for hiking the endless Sunshine coast trail, diving, boating, or any other kind of water related activity in an undescribably beautifull environment. You will travel the whole sunshine coast and cross-over by ferry towards Vancouver Island for the island feel.
